A singular case was heard before Mr. Lane, at North London Police-court, on Wednesday after- nous. Polise-constable Dymond is transferring his services from the Hackney to the Hong Kong Police: bat Alice Staith, a domestic servant, of Richmond-road, alleging him to be the father of her unborn child, got the case heard before the man's departure, so that he might not have to return to England, and in order to avoid an order being made iz bis aleonce.--Mr. Young was solicitor for the complainant, and Mr. D.
